Mike Loyd, Production Marketing Manager, Ricoh Americas Corporation

Mike Loyd is Production Marketing Manager for Higher Education and the In-Plant Specialist for Ricoh Americas Corporation. Mike has been with Ricoh since 2007, and helps develop business strategies and programs for the public sector, colleges and universities and in-plants.

Previously, Mike served as the Director of Procurement Auxiliary Services at Louisiana State University. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the newspaper and printing professions. Mike worked for LSU for 18 years, 13 of those as director. He directed several auxiliary enterprises at the University including Printing Services, the Copy Center, Copier Management, Design Services, Mailing Services and University Stores.

Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from LSU in 1978 and earned his Masters of Public Administration in higher education administration from LSU in 1998. Mike is past president of the Association of College and University Printers and was named Manager of the Year by In-Plant Graphics magazine. Mike is also past president of the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA). He has been a member of IPMA for many years, having served as international president-elect, international secretary-treasurer, and in several office capacities of the Louisiana Bayou Chapter. Mike has served as a consultant to many colleges and universities and was on the editorial advisory boards of two industry journals. He has spoken at numerous regional, national and international conferences and is an avid tennis player.

4:30 PM - EDUCATIONAL SESSION - “HOW TO JUSTIFY YOUR IN-PLANT PRINTING OPERATION”
Rob Lingard, Director Central Services, Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators

Rob's  who has been with Deseret Mutual for 32 years as the Director of Central Services he is responsible for printing, mail, imaging, security, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, purchasing, and physical facilities management for the organization. Deseret Mutual employs 375 people at their headquarters located in SLC Utah. The organization provides insurance and retirement benefits to individuals working for companies owned or operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Affiliated organizations include BYU, and LDS Church Printing who are also members of IPMA.

Rob's credentials include a B.A from the University of Utah, MBA from the University of Phoenix currently presides as the IPMA International President and is a member of IPMA's Franklin Stamp and Ink Society by holding the CMM Certification. Rob is also working towards receiving the dual certification by adding CGCM to his tenure.  Rob personal life is full and abundant, married with 4 children and 16 grandchildren. Rob loves to golf, read and volunteer time for his church and community
