IPMA's Baton Rouge Regional Lunch & Learn Event
You're  invited to Fall for IPMA at the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association's (IPMA) Regional EVent in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! Coming up in just a few short weeks, the meeting sponsored by Boise Papers, is being hosted by Paul Bethel, the Digital Printing Services Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. The event takes place:

 "We are really excited about the opportunity to host our in-plant colleagues in Baton Rouge," noted Paul in talking about the event. "And we are pleased that Boise Paper is sponsoring the event and having Kate McGlynn, their Product Environmental Steward, presenting our keynote!" Kate is the primary point of contact for product environmental matters for Boise Paper and will talk about the importance of paper sustainability in an in-plant's role within the enterprise.
 Following Kate's keynote, Billy Arcement, a nationally known motivational speaker with his own special Cajun flair, will present his insights about "The Seeds of Greatness" in all of us. Attendees are sure to come away with some unique insights they can take back home and put to use as soon as they get back to the office on Monday! The full schedule will be as follows:

The Regional Event is a local, convenient and affordable half-day educational outing focused on helping in-plant professionals look at innovative ways of Raising the Bar to establish and maintain their competitive edge! The event is open to ALL in-plant professionals - and its FREE! No vendors, please, unless you are a sponsor.
The event provides a great way to expand your local network of in-plant printing and mailing professionals. Since a site tour is part of the program, it also provides a live, in-person look at Blue Cross and Blue Shield's best practices. Additionally, many companies find sending staff to a local meeting a way to motivate and reward those who don't usually have the opportunity to go to IPMA's annual conference or other industry events.
 The meeting will also be attended by IPMA's Secretary/ Treasurer, Mike Lincoln. He will be on hand to help attendees learn more about IPMA membership and benefits, as well as get input on topics or ideas members would like addressed at the highest levels of the organization. Richard will also be able to discuss the potential for a more ongoing series of local and regional activities focused on the in-plant printing and mailing industry.
